This is all more like a journey than a destination. It is what we do every day, consistently, to taking care of ourselves. It is an effort of focus on thriving rather than just surviving. It starts with mindset and translates into action, to allow the brilliance of our mind and body to go for optimum performance of whatever deck of cards we have to do the most with what we have. Here are some notable people with memorable thoughts to inspire and encourage on the subject of overall wellness.
“Your body is smarter than you give it credit for.”
“A great hallmark of mental wellness is the ability to be in the present moment, fully and with no thoughts of being elsewhere."
"If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little and not too much, we would have found the safest way to health."
“I never won a fight in the ring; I always won in preparation."
"The key to success is
consistency, not intensity."
"The greatest wealth is health."
“Nothing will work unless you do.”
“Deliberate breath (regardless of the pattern) makes the mind visible.”

“Reduce the stress levels in your life through relaxation techniques like meditation, deep breathing, and exercise. You'll look and feel way better for it.”
“Take a deep breath and let it all go.”
If I had to limit my advice on healthier living to just one tip, it would be to simply learn how to breathe correctly.

“Water is the only drink for a wise man.”
“Nothing is softer or more flexible than water, yet nothing can resist it.”

“Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.”

“Let thy food be thy medicine
Which means our food should be our medicine and vice versa”
“The doctors of the future will no longer treat the human frame with drugs, but rather will cure and prevent disease with nutrition.”
"To me, supplements are a necessity, not a luxury. I think of them as medicine: Instead of asking a doctor to prescribe me a drug when I'm ill, I'd rather take something that can help me avoid getting sick in the first place."
“What most people don’t realize is that food is not just calories; it’s information. It actually contains messages that connect to every cell in the body.”

Cold is merciless. It shows you where you are. What you are.
Yes, my teacher is the cold.
So what we're all hoping to do, us researchers, is to develop ways to not really just extend lifespan but to keep people healthier for longer.
You can't afford to get sick, and you can't depend on the present health care system to keep you well. It's up to you to protect and maintain your body's innate capacity for health and healing by making the right choices in how you live.
Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness.
It is health that is the real wealth, and not pieces of gold and silver.
The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will instruct his patients in care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.
The part can never be well unless the whole is well.
