Hydration, we all know how important it is, and yet ironically, we largely can take it for granted. In the sense of "What are we pretending not to know?", we do know that this is not the case. Here we are talking about water, and the hydration we naturally get from our fruits and vegetables. To be continued on the podcasts below. A toast to your good health with a glass of incredibly delicious water, picturing in coming from a mountain stream as you see in the image here.

Andrew Weil speaks here on book Spontaneous Happiness. This caught my attention as it take a deeper dive into the state of general mental health in the US, , or more correctly the lack of it of so many due to the influences by monied interests of medications here. It is a wake up call of how we can all do better personally with our health first with an awareness of choices in what we eat and how we take care of ourselves emotionally and physically. This talk goes back to 2011 and it is that much more important and relevant today. This is definitely worth a listen to give you a better understanding of making good choices for our mental, emotional and physical health going forward.

Nutrition is so vital to our source of health and vitality. It is information for our bodies. We literally are what we take in every day for our capacity to think and to fuel our daily activity. Today, we live in a sea of information coming at us in the face of all kinds of health concerns that can come knocking on our door. As I learned early in my life, what you hear by someone may or may not be correct, and to question everything. That has served me well, and what you will see below are examples of what I have learned to be quite valid for optimum wellness, especially in guarding the gate with diet and supplementation that help us rather than pull us down a possibly dark and often costly path.
If this information you take in below is new to you, much of it will likely shock you as contrary to what certain money interests in the pharmaceutical industry would like you to believe. I give this to you as a source of information, and there is more behind the curtain of what you hear from a number of sources, but this is a good start on perhaps a new perspective for an ability for you to take back control of your own health going forward.

Before going into what you could add to your life for optimum wellness, how about starting with the simpliity of what to take out, whether types of food we eat or what we use most every day that could cause more harm than you might think. As I learned long ago, "Knowledge is never a disadvantage." Following is a podcast with Darin Olien, wellness expert, superfood advocate, and star of "DownTo Earth" on Netflix. Here Darin shares the hidden dangers of everyday products, toxic chemicals, and alternatives for better health. Such high value here, as it is not just all of what you can eat and practice for optimum health, but just as importantly, what to avoid.
Nutritionist Simon Hil joins Rich Roll to take on diet myths and prove why a planat'based diennt is optimal for hum and planetary health. Whatever your diet preferences, this is definitely worth a listen. As I say often, "Knowledge is never a disadvantage."
Dr. Joel Wallach first published Dead Doctors Don't Lie in 1994. This is quite a few years ago, but this message in tape form propelled the fastest growth in networking history at the time for a company New Vision, and in particular, their flagship product, Ionic Essential Minerals, still sold today under a different label, called Ionic. It is quite entertaining, and the accuracy and insight of this message is as true today. Dr. Wallach pulls back the curtain on important information for optimum health through adequate supplementation.
Heart health, a big and important topic, and plenty of information out there if you can find it. Here for you, is what I view as state of the art research that is an education on what is really going on with heart health issues today. Dr. Mathias Rath, world renowned expert on heart health, gives us an education for better protecting the condition of our heart. This is a speaking engagement 8 years ago, and yet not put out in our mainstream medical and drug community for reasons that Dr. Rath will share.
When we were kids, we couldn't wait to get outside and play, or at least, that was the case for me. Whether as kids or as adults, we can explore the boundaries of our physical abilities with exercise. As we get older, we grow to understand that exercise is something we need to continue doing, for extending our own optimum health. As the saying goes, "Use it, or lose it." is very real, and I do though believe that even if someone has lost a certain amount of their athletic abilities due to inactivity, you can work to get it back, all for the benefit of your overall health, no matter what level you are at. One of the keys of exercise is increasing mobility, which is vital for our well-being as we age. Starting out on this subject is once again Rich Roll, this time with a masterclass on mobility.
